Dr. Coop DeRenne, a University of Hawaii-Manoa professor, has written a book I storngly recommend.  It is titled The Scientific Approach to Hitting.  You get a "Sneak Peak" on-line through University Press.  As many of you know, Dr. DeRenne is a pioneer in baseball research.  His opinion is universally respected throughout the baseball community.
